Bienville Jones' #7-BG

Here's a pristine 1960 #7-BG.  Really nice, especially since it's 40+ years old.  You'll notice that the bridge and tuners have been replaced, and a thumbrest has been added, but it still looks great.  Ben tells me that these modifications were made when he received the bass, about 10 years ago.

Just a great looking instrument - bears no resemblance to the modern Carvin bass, but this is where it all began, folks!

This is a #72-BG from about 1962.  Although it's in pretty good condition, it has been refinished at some point during it's life - red was not offered on basses from this era.  Apart from the paint, everything else appears to be original.
