In 1989 and 1990, Carvin offered the LB80 and LB85, which were upscale versions of the LB70 and LB75.  Essentially, these models were upgraded with standard flamed maple tops (this was before flamed and quilted maple were options on all models).

This is a 1990 model, in sapphire blue on flamed maple with MOP dot inlays (standard on these models), black chrome hardware and active electronics.
