Carvin in the 70's. The decade started with black-and-white catalogs,
German-made Höfner necks, Hawaiian steel guitars, and a limited selection of

catalog, set-necks on totally made-by-Carvin instruments, and guitar and bass amps for every
playing situation. There was not a huge selection of bass amps, but as
the decade progressed, the bass amps became more refined and more
powerful, and would pave the way for future models.
