Bass Amps

Carvin's bass amplifiers for 1975 remained the same as 1974, although they had the same minor price increases as the 1975 guitar amps.  However, there was something new in the marketing department - color!  Two new color pages were added to the '75 catalog (in addition to the guitar/bass spread, which had been color since 1972), and both these new pages showed bass amplifiers.  For more information, see 1974.

This would be the last year the FH1400 and SFH1500 folded horn bass amps would be offered.  The FH1400 was based on the B2000 head, with an FH950 cabinet.  The SFH1500 used the more powerful B3000 head and an FH950 cabinet (but it would support a second cabinet).  The FH1400 sold for $569.95, and the SFH1500 sold for $639.95.

The BM750 (near left) used the B2000 head, with a PS1000 cabinet that was loaded with a pair of 15" CTS #1562B speakers and a pair of 12" CTS #1221 speakers.  It sold for $469.95.

The BM355 (far left) also used the B2000 head, with a TR200B cabinet that was loaded with a pair of 15" CTS #1562B speakers.  It sold for $389.95.
