Here's a great collection by another regular contributor over
at the Carvin BBS. From left to tight (above) is a '96 AE-185, an '03
TL60, an '02 TL60-FA and an '04 DC135M. Below is a detailed description of
each...

First
up, this 1996 AE185. It has a ruby red stain finish on quilted
maple, with mahogany neck and body. Other features include mother
of pearl dot inlays on the ebony fretboard, black headstock overlay,
gold hardware, C22T and C22N pickups, coil taps and phase switch were
added after purchase by Jeremy and a local luthier.

Next up,
a pair of TL60s. On the left is a 2003 model with walnut body
sides, five piece flamed maple/walnut neck, tung oil finish, no inlays
on ebony fretboard, black hardware, M22T and H22N pickups with coil
splitters. On the right is a 2002 model, with flamed maple top
with matching headstock, alder body sides, maple neck, gloss finish on
body, abalone block inlays, active electronics with Fishman acoustic
bridge, tung oil finish on back of neck, chrome hardware, C22T and C22N
pickups.

Last is
this stunning 2004 DC135M. This one is just beautiful, with solid
flamed koa body sides, maple neck, gloss finish, rounded body sides,
mother of pearl dot inlays on ebony fretboard, and gold hardware.
Electronics consist of a C22B and a pair of AP11 pickups with three
on-off switches for each. |
