Last is Brian's 2000 LB75
bass. It has the 5MW neck with ebony fretboard and Koa wings, H50N pickup and black hardware.
Brian says:
"This one has a nice story. I bought it off eBay. Turns out the truss
rod is maxed out. I wound up breaking it so am stuck with it. Albert at Carvin offered to rebuild it for me
using the original hardware. I had no leg to stand on since it was
non-warranty but he cut me a decent price. I requested a darker
shade of Koa since the original was gold and had no grain. As
you can see it now has beautifully figured Koa. Way to go Carvin and
Albert." |
